CNN-IBN brings special programming on the Gujarat Elections 'Gujarat Yatra'
The show will travel the length and breadth of the state to find out the real issues that Gujaratis face
December 3, 2012:
It is time to discover the real Gujarat, a state that for far too long has been viewed through the prism of its Chief Minister Narendra Modi and communal politics. On the eve of the assembly elections, CNN-IBN goes beyond the politics with Gujarat Yatra, a special show that will travel the length and breadth of the state to find out the real issues that Gujaratis face.
Starting December 3, CNN-IBN's Senior Editor Anubha Bhonsle will travel to Porbandar (the birthplace of Gandhi), Rajkot, Kutch, Bhavnagar, Banaskantha, Sanand (the home of Amul), Godhra, Baroda and Surat. During her yatra, she will meet a cross-section of Gujaratis to find out how Gujarat has changed and what changes would they like to see.
Tune in to 'Gujarat Yatra' through the day, Mon-Fri, from Dec 3 to Dec 14, only on CNN-IBN.
Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor-in-Chief, CNN-IBN, IBN7 & IBN Lokmat commented, “This Gujarat Yatra will reveal the sentiments of the man on the street in Gujarat and give our viewers the real picture of Gujarat.”
