Zee Marathi to launch 'Dance Maharashtra Dance'

The show is slated to go on air in second week of December. It will be a bi-weekly on weekdays at 9.30 pm

Borrowing from Zee TV's iconic dancing reality show Dance India Dance, Zee Marathi is all set to give a unique stage to avid dance lovers from Maharashtra by introducing a dance reality show “Dance Maharashtra Dance.” The channel has roped in Idea as title sponsor of the show.

The bi-weekly show, Idea Dance Maharashtra Dance is slated to go on air in second week of December at 9.30 pm slot on weekdays.

In a bid to attract the finest dancing talent from every nook and corner of the Maharashtra, Dance Maharashtra Dance's creative team has been conducting auditions across 7 cities in Maharashtra.  The show is shaping up beautifully and we are confident that it will see a fabulous innings with passionate aspirants!!”

The show will start its search for the “dance stars” in various parts of Maharashtra like Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Pune, Thane and Mumbai from the age group of 15-30. From the auditions conducted in these seven centers, 18 finalists will be selected for the show and after which the ultimate 'Dancing Superstar' will be crowned. The show promises to give a platform where the dancers will get a chance to show and put in their best dancing skills. Not only this, but the show also promises that each dancer will get an independent and unique identity after participating in the show.
