It was one crazy night as Zee Café united all the fans of their show Vampire Diaries for the first time in India!!! Fang Fare India 2012 was the ultimate event for fans of the hit series. The channel organized this event especially to bring all the ardent fans of the Vampire Diaries series together to one place and give them a chance to interact with each other.

The convention saw a turnout of 400 people at Hard Rock Café in Delhi on 6th November and Mumbai on Nov 8th. To launch season 3  of 'The Vampire Diaries' a major hype was created on social media including a contest on twitter and facebook to chose participants based on conversations about Fang Fare and The Vampire Diaries. This was a unique and one of its kind initiatives taken by Zee Cafe which was absolutely loved by the viewers. The show had generated quite the interest amongst viewers to have a union dedicated to the series. The series is currently on air Monday to Friday at 10 m.

Fang Fare 2012 in both cities started with fans of all ages coming in dressed in the wildest and craziest costumes! The venue started filling up an hour before the slated time of the event as the fans were super excited to be at the event. Finally the emcee started with an introduction and quiz on 'The Vampire Diaries season 3'.There were special games and exclusive content of the cast of The Vampire Diaries i.e Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev showcased at the event. The enthusiastic fans present there were eager to get blood and fang tattoos all over their bodies and stood patiently for photo opportunities with cast cut outs! The fans were also pitched against each other to win exclusive merchandise of The Vampire Diaries series. All of them seemed to be having a blast and were showing their enthusiasm by constantly tweeting from Fang Fare. These tweets about Fang Fare reached to 25000 people on the given day!

The idea behind the event was to allow the attendees the opportunity to show off their passion for 'The Vampire Diaries' and to bring together like minded folks and form friendships based on a common passion for the channel and the show.

Fang Fare 2012 finally brought together all those who have a vampire obsession in Delhi and Mumbai. Such fan unions take place all across the world but Zee Café organized this kind of an event for the first time for its Indian fans. Fang fare 2012 Delhi and Mumbai was an event for the launch of season 3 of the Vampire Diaries which premiered on 7th November and airs Monday to Friday at 10 pm. The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama series based on the book by L.J Smith, takes place in a   fictional town called Mystic Falls, Virginia. The main focus of the series is the love triangle between the protagonist Elena Gilbert and vampire-brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore.
