Zee Business honours home brands with Good Home Awards

India's best home brands were honoured by Zee Business through its NAREDCO Good Home Awards for their contribution in transforming houses into homes at a ceremony held in New Delhi on November 22, 2012. It was the first edition of the awards.

The brands were chosen through an extensive survey across six cities where recent buyers, prospective buyers and contractors of home construction brands were administered with a structured questionnaire. This initiative proved to be an important opportunity for consumers and industry stakeholders to appreciate the brands that have proven to be paramount in the eyes of the consumer.

The evening started with a keynote address by Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Urban Development & Parliamentary Affairs, followed by felicitation of the brands.

The winning brands were: LG Hausys for Door & Windows; Somani Stone Minerals Company for Flooring; Asahi for Glass; Asian Paints for Paints & Coatings; Kajaria for Floor Tiles - Vitrified & Wooden; H&R Johnson for Sanitary Fittings; Hindware for Bathroom Fixtures; Gilma for Modular Kitchens; Godrej Secure for Security Systems; Anchor for Switches; Havells for Cables; Ambuja Cement for Cement; Greenply for Wooden Laminates; Rathi TMT Bars for TMT Saria; and Tata Pipes for Pipes.
