You've seen them roam the highways of India, getting a taste of local cuisines and literally everything else that comes their way; you have seen them relive the good old college days with addas and now the popular duo Rocky and Mayur are back with yet another exhilarating series of Highway On My Plate - Coast to Coast. This season, get ready to rock the waves, as the duo combs the shoreline of India in search of the best coastal flavours.
Fishing villages, trawlers, fish markets, plantations, stunning highways that are kissed by gentle waves and all along the way, the people of India make every journey of Rocky and Mayur worth undertaking. There is sea food in plenty but also herbs, spices, plants and fruits that will make sure the vegetarian out of the two – Mayur, does not feel left out and neither do the veggie viewers.
Our highway explorers will thumb rides, punt lifts and hustle free meals as they make friends, sing, dance and eat their way from Gujarat to Bengal. They travel to Mumbai, Kochi, Pondicherry, Chennai, Puri, Kolkata amongst the many other places along the shoreline.
