Reliance Entertainment Digital consolidates gaming business verticals under single brand name ‘Zapak’

publive-imageReliance Entertainment Digital, which has two gaming brands under its portfolio – Jump Games and Zapak Digital Entertainment – has announced the consolidation of its gaming business under the brand name Zapak. With this initiative, Jump Games, a leading International developer and publisher of mobile games, apps and content, will be rebranded as Zapak Mobile Games Pvt. Ltd. 

With this move, Reliance Entertainment Digital aims to leverage synergies between each of the gaming verticals and create a unified brand entity. The integrated brand Zapak will now reach out to over 20 million gamers across the globe who would be able to access nearly 2,000 games on the mobile and web.

This move is part of the company’s growth strategy, while leveraging Zapak’s existing brand popularity and recall. Zapak, launched in 2006, is a brand that is synonymous with gaming among casual gamers the world over. Post the restructuring, Zapak Digital Entertainment will operate three business verticals:

  1. Zapak Solutions, which will specialise in providing cutting-edge advergaming and gamification solutions to brands across mobile and online platforms worldwide.
  2. Zapak Online & WAP Portal, which will offer free and casual games on web and mobile via its platforms zapak.com & m.zapak.com.
  3. Zapak Mobile, which will continue to develop and publish cutting edge games across platforms for its Indian and global audiences.

Zapak Digital Entertainment will continue operations from its headquarters in Mumbai, India, with offices located in Pune in India and Chicago and Los Angeles, USA.
