National Geographic Channel unravels the truth about the Taj Mahal
The channel moderates the controversy on the continued existence of the monument on October 20 at 12 noon

One of the grandest works of architecture on this planet is under threat - are we prepared to handle it? Two of the world's most respected names in sustainability - National Geographic and Panasonic, are coming together to deep dive into the status qou of the Taj on October 20th, 2012 at 12 pm. Viewers will decide the fate of India's biggest heritage as the special documentary presents two different views on the world's most famous monument of love- one from the critics who fear its impending collapse and the other from the conservators who refute the theory point blank. The documentary is part of World Heritage Special which will be aired exclusively on the National Geographic Channel, featuring a new series titled Access 360° World Heritage that offers an insider's look at some of the world's most astonishing natural and man-made wonders. Actor Dia Mirza, who is also an eco ambassador for Panasonic will take the viewers through the journey and the future of the Taj Mahal.
The year-long World Heritage Special series results from the collaboration between NGC - as a globally renowned and respected infotainment channel, and Panasonic - one aims world's No.1 green innovation company in the electronics industry. Both organizations passionate about sustainable development, are highlighting the importance of environmental and heritage conservation to people all around the world. The partnership also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, a landmark international treaty for cultural and natural heritage preservation.
