Multi Screen Media's FDI proposal deferred again

Rs 2.5 crore FDI allowed to 'Post Noon', published by Hyderabad-based Scribble Media & Entertainment

Based on the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), the government has approved the FDI (foreign direct investment) proposal for Rs.2.5 crore by Hyderabad-based Scribble Media & Entertainment for induction of foreign equity to carry out the business of publication of evening news publication titled 'Post Noon'.

In another decision, the government has again deferred the FDI proposal of Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd., which runs the Sony bouquet of TV channels, for induction of foreign equity to carry out the business of production of television programmes in Indian languages primarily for export, sale and distribution of Indian language audio visual production.
