MCCS appoints Gautam Sharma as National Sales Head

Sharma will be responsible for driving revenues of ABP News, ABP Majha and ABP Ananda

Media Content and Communications Services India (MCCS) which owns news channels ABP News, ABP Majha and ABP Ananda, has appointed Gautam Sharma as Vice-President & National Sales Head. Sharma, who joined on Monday, October 29, 2012, will be responsible for driving revenues of the entire network. This is his second stint with MCCS.

Sharma has moved from India TV where he was heading all-India revenues for close to two years. Before joining India TV in December 2010, he was associated with MCCS for four years as Assistant Vice-President.

Sharma started his career with TV Today Network in 2000 where he spent more than four years and rose up to Deputy Manager - Ad Sales. He has also had short stints with Star India and Planman Media before joining MCCS in 2006.
