Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL) has appointed Sandeep Singh Arora as Vice-President, The Times of India Brand. He will be responsible for management of the brand including marketing, reader engagement and various aspects of brand health. He will be based in Delhi and will report to Rahul Kansal, Chief Marketing Officer, BCCL.

An Economics Graduate from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and a Post-graduate from Indian IIM-Ahmedabad, Arora has over 18 years' experience in Sales and Marketing with Unilever and Pepsico India.

Arora started his career in 1994 as a management trainee with Unilever India and thereafter worked as Area Sales Manager for Detergents business for Uttar Pradesh. He subsequently took over as Regional Brand Manager for Sunsilk and was part of several innovation projects for the brand. In 2002, he relocated to Unilever Russia as Marketing Manager for Haircare and Skin category. His last assignment with Unilever was as Regional Director for Fabric Cleaning, Asia.

Arora joined Pepsico India in 2007 as Category Director for Cola Business and Media. At Pepsico, he led a team of brand managers for effective turnaround of brand Pepsi through new campaigns (Youngistaan, Change the Game), engagement programmes, pack price play and product innovation. He was also responsible for media investments across the Beverage portfolio.
