Dish TV launches Football on Demand 

UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches are available on Pay per View

In yet another first and pioneering initiative by the industry leader, Dish TV India - Asia’s largest DTH operator in special association with Ten Sports brings UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Matches exclusively on Dish TV on Football on Demand. Football has a huge fan following in the country, keeping this interest level of subscribers in mind; Dish TV will now be offering 46 select matches in 24 days exclusively on Pay per View (PPV) for the First time in India and only on Football on Demand on Dish TV.

Speaking on the occasion, Salil Kapoor, COO, Dish TV said, “Being pioneers and market leader of the DTH Industry we have led the way with many first in the industry, it is our constant endeavor to innovate and bring best product offerings in the DTH industry. Dish TV has established itself as the most popular DTH with Maximum number of Sports channels; it is our constant effort to provide our customers the best of Sporting action and this time by launching “Football on Demand” for the first time in India exclusively on Pay per View for our subscribers”.

These matches will be shown either live or deferred live so that our esteemed subscriber will not miss any live action, and will be available to Dish TV for 24 hours exclusively. In a day if there are 4 live matches at a time then Dish TV will show 2 live matches on FOD for our subscribers and rest 2 will be shown on Ten Action or Ten Sports channels.

Dish TV subscribers can order the matches through Phone/SMS, or by logging onto www.dishtv.in. SMS SYNTAX – MOD99 to 57575. Subscribers will also be give advance requests and once the request is received they will automatically get the channel without any intervention required. The FOD channel can be availed of at a price of Rs 100 (including taxes).
