The Outsider to air from August 25 on Bloomberg TV India

The show will telecast every Saturday at 8 pm with a repeat telecast on Sunday 11 am & 9 pm and Wednesday 10.30 pm

Bloomberg TV India and Sobo Films Pvt. Ltd have announced the launch of their mega debate series 'THE OUTSIDER' to be hosted by noted anchor and host TIM SEBASTIAN. The inaugural episode will go on air on Saturday, August 25 at 8 pm. All subsequent episodes will also be telecast on Saturday's at 8 pm with a repeat telecast on Sunday 11 am & 9 pm and Wednesday 10.30 pm.

The motion for the inaugural episode is “POLITICS SHOULD NO LONGER BE A FAMILY BUSINESS” and the panelists are Sitaram Yechury of CPI (M) & Sudheendra Kulkarni of BJP will debate in favour of the motion and Rita Bahuguna Joshi of the Congress & Kalikesh Singh Deo of the Biju Janata Dal will debate against the motion.

Indian politicians, probably, have never before faced such blunt and incisive questioning at the hands of a debate host and an invited audience representing a mix of India's best future minds and people from all walks of life. Two polls were conducted amongst the studio audience. One on the trust or faith that they had in today's politicians and the other was the audiences' vote for the motion. The result for both was astounding.
