Star Plus launches new weekend show 'Arjun'

Premiering on August 11, the action/ crime investigation series will be telecast on every Saturday – Sunday at 8 pm

After the launch of "Lakhon Mein Ek" that replaced Satyamev Jayate this weekend, Star Plus is launching yet another weekend show. From the entertaining bouquet of Star Plus comes a new action/ crime investigation series 'Arjun' that promises to keep audiences glued to their seats while they watch the lead character Arjun take on the world of crime and solves the complicated cases. The show will be telecast on every Saturday & Sunday, 8pm starting August 11, 2012.

Played by Shaleen Malhotra, Arjun is a cop who has the ability to single-handedly deter crime mongers with his unmatched instinct and aptitude to solve cases that fox the best of minds in the force. Unveiling an interesting story with every episode, Arjun along with the Emergency Task Force Team, will free the world from all crimes. Every generation needs a superhero and this generation will find the one in  ARJUN.

Ruthless and yet intelligent, Arjun will go to any end to crack a case he is assigned. While at work, Arjun is unstoppable. If there is someone who can break the 'chakravyooh' of modern day crime it is he. His name alone is enough to strike terror in the hearts and minds of criminals far and wide. When it comes to criminals, Arjun is merciless and aggressive. He is against the book, averse to authority, breaker of rules but it is his brilliance, skills and prowess that make him the ultimate foe to criminals all over.
