Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has announced the launch of its second television commercial for the recently launched 'stylish new Xylo'. A sequel to the first makeover TVC for the new Xylo, the new TVC highlights the E9 variant and its key features such as the pioneering Voice Command Technology (VCT), mHawk engine and luxurious space and comfort amongst others.
The TVC continues with the Xylo's brand promise of 'Time of your life' and aims to take the communication to the next level in terms of style, panache and lifestyle. While the first TVC highlighted Xylo's makeover, its sequel showcases the key features of the SUV. Atul Kasbekar, ace fashion photographer and brand endorser, moves around town with his glamorous long-legged models while experiencing new features of the E9 variant.
Vivek Nayer, Senior VP - Marketing, Automotive Division, M&M, said, “The new TVC is a continuation of the Xylo's makeover TVC and it reveals the key features of the stylish new Xylo in a cool and trendy way. The new TVC also reinforces the fact that the stylish new Xylo is gold standard in luxurious space and comfort. As always, dashing fashion photographer Atul Kasbekar and the models add to the glamour quotient. We are sure the consumers will enjoy the new TVC and appreciate the pioneering features in the E9 variant of the stylish new Xylo.”
The TVC aims to live up to the brand's philosophy of enabling people to have the 'Time of their Life'. Robby Mathew, National Creative Director, Interface Communications, said, “The new Xylo TVC picks up exactly where the last one left off. In the last Xylo ad, Kasbekar and the models wandered into a carwash for a wash and wipe, but ended up getting a makeover. Now, fresh from the carwash, Kasbekar and the girls continue their journey in the new Xylo. They travel through a scenic beach town, down to a pier for a fashion photo shoot. En route, the girls play around with the new Voice Command System and even change into costumes in the Xylo's spacious 'happy legs' interiors.”
Mathew further said, “The core proposition of the Xylo has always been its roomy legroom, crystallised as 'happy legs'. This campaign had to let people know about the re-styled exterior, but it quickly comes back to the Xylo's core strength of space and the voice command technology system.”
The signature 'Can't get you off my mind' track that was a hit in the earlier commercial has been extended. The track had got an enthusiastic 25,000 ringtone downloads on the Xylo website in April. The commercial will enjoy just as much digital exposure as the earlier ad.
