Grey wins Pigeon’s creative mandate

The media spends are estimated to be around Rs 40 crore; The agency won the business after multi-agency pitch

Stovekraft has awarded the creative duties of its brand Pigeon Home Appliances to Grey, Bangalore. The agency’s Bangalore office will be handling the business. Pigeon Home Appliances are the manufacturers of a wide variety of kitchen appliances.

According to informed industry estimate, the media spends are close to Rs 40 crore.

In a multi-agency pitch process, that saw participation from six agencies including Rediffusion, Percept H, Euro, Contract, Lowe, and Grey; Lowe, Contract, and Grey were shortlisted for the final round.

The Grey team will be devising the creatives for Pigeon soon, which would break across various media vehicles in the months to come. Pigeon's product portfolio includes induction cookers, mixer-grinders, blackline cook-tops, non-stick cookware, electronic pressure cookers, emergency lamps and water purifiers, amongst several others. The brand competes primarily with Prestige, Hawkins etc.
