Xavi Bech de Careda has been appointed as Vice-President, Planning, in DDB Mudra’s Delhi office. He will report to Vandana Das, President, DDB Mudra Group, Delhi, and Aditya Kanthy, Senior VP, Panning, DDB Mudra, Delhi and Mumbai.
de Careda started his career in London as a food technology researcher in the R&D team of Unilever Research. Subsequently, he switched to the agency side and joined BDDH. He also has had stints with BBH and McCann Healthcare in London.
de Careda moved to Barcelona in 1997 and worked with BBDO Tiempo, Rapp Collins and DDB Barcelona as a brand & communication strategist. With over 15 years of experience, he has handled world-class brands such as Audi, Bayer, Fujitsu Italy, Marcilla Coffe, Natura Bisse, Panasonic and Volkswagen to name a few.
On joining DDB Mudra, de Careda said, “From the very first moment I stepped into DDB Mudra's offices in Delhi and Mumbai, I knew that was the place I wanted to be. After spending some months travelling in India the thought of a professional challenge here seduced me, and following DDB Mudra Group's call, things have moved at a fast pace.
