In a fast-growing Television Broadcasting business, which is poised to be significantly scaled profitably, TTN has devised right organisation focus to accelerate successful growth for The Times Group. The Network has announced that they are, thus, assigning the leadership team with specific responsibility, with immediate effect.

“We are fortunate that we have internal leaders and strength to take up this role. Avinash Kaul, CEO of Zoom and ET Now will now also be responsible for Times Now. With this, he will be responsible for Financial, Programming and Marketing for all three channels. This is a large part of the Network and in order to draw organisation efficiency, all Shared Services including Sales and Sales Support, Syndication, Digital, International Distribution, Finance & Admin, Human Resources, Technical and Broadcast and Legal, will report to Kaul. Such alignment is expected to yield even higher profitable growth,” said the internal communiqué from the Chairman's office of Times Television Network.

Ajay Trigunayat, on the other hand, would continue as CEO for English Entertainment channels with the English Movie channel – Movies Now reporting to him. The cluster would continue to operate as independent business unit, with its own Programming, Marketing, Sales and related teams. Trigunayat will have responsibility of the Financials for this cluster. This would help TTN to maintain synergy, without duplicating cost and effort. TTN aims to multiply their business in Hollywood entertainment to multiply under Trigunayat's leadership.

Kaul and Trigunayat will report to Sunil Lulla, MD and CEO of Times Television Network. Further, in addition to overseeing TTN's consolidated business, Lulla will increasingly focus on spearheading growth of TV business for the Times Group, identifying new opportunities, creating significant alliances & partnerships and managing external shareholders.
