Sony launches new primetime fiction show 'Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka'

Premiering today, the show takes 8 pm slot from Monday to Friday; Kuchh Toh Log Kahenge shifted to 11 pm

'Pati ki pasand', 'Baa ki saheli', 'Saas ki laadli', 'Sasural ki raunak'...Vaishnav parivar ki chaheti bahoo hai Rajni. Nothing seems amiss and everything seems perfect but the pertinent question remains: Phir Kyun ho raha hai Vaishnav parivar mein Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka?

This interesting and never-seen-before story is that of a Gujarati Vaishnav family set in present day Gujarat, in the quaint city of Baroda. All is well in the Vaishnav family.

What comes as a surprise then is: why is the Vaishnav family all set to get their Bahoo Rajni, remarried. The usual been-there-done-that answers have all been put to rest already. No! Rajni's husband Krish is not suffering from any terminal disease, nor is he having an extra marital affair, and yes it was a love marriage. So then the question remains, Phir Kyun Ho RahaByaah Hamari Bahoo Ka.

The show is premiering on May 28, 2012 and will take 8 pm slot from Monday to Friday. It replaces Kuchh Toh Log Kahenge which will air at 11 pm.

It's a show of "today" which will also attract the youth along with the family audiences!

Produced by Hatsoff Production and written by Aatish Kapadia, the show boasts of a strong ensemble cast which includes Gaurav Khanna as Krish and Shrenu Parikh as Rajni in the lead, ably supported by Benaf as Paulomi –Krish's best friend and confidante. Amongst others, noted actress Falguni Desai plays the adorable Baa, with Pawan Chopra as Vrajlal, the Father in Law and PrathikshaLonkar as Yahsoda the mother-in-law.
