Radio City joins hands with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures

Announces launch of 'Blue Carpet Music Launch' to premiere the music of the much awaited films exclusively for its listeners

In an attempt to offer exclusive music to its listeners, Radio City 91.1FM has extended its 'Blue Carpet' property to 'Blue Carpet Music Launch'. The FM station has joined hands with Viacom18 Motion Pictures to make a first of its kind property. The alliance will see Radio City showcasing the music from all the movies under the banner of Viacom18 Motion Pictures.

The 'Blue Carpet Music Launch' property kick-started with the music launch of the upcoming film 'Department' held at Radio City studios.

Commenting on the partnership, Kartik Kalla, National Programming Director, Radio City, said, “Radio City truly believes in surprising its listeners with fresh and entertaining music. We are proud to be the first and only radio station to have partnered with Viacom18 Motion Pictures to initiate this property. This strategic alliance will open up myriad possibilities that will help us further establish a strong connect with our listeners and strengthen our presence in this space.”

Radio City has also in the recent past partnered with Viacom18 Motion Pictures and held radio premieres of the music of films like 'Bittoo Boss' and 'Blood Money' under their banner.
