MAX HD offers IPL in HD on 4 DTH platforms

MAX, the official broadcaster of the DLF IPL, has launched its channel in High Definition and will bring the biggest spectacle of Indian television, the Indian Premier League 2012, in true HD. HD transmission offers better picture and sound quality compared to standard definition transmission. It also offers wide-angle viewing which is considered particularly suitable for watching sporting events. MAX HD will telecast the DLF IPL tournament LIVE along with repeats of all the matches throughout the day in high definition. The MAX HD channel will be available across digital platforms on Dish TV, Tata Sky, Sun Direct and Airtel TV.
To increase the viewer experience, extraaa innings T20 is also being produced and aired in the HD format. Bigger and better than any of its previous seasons, extraaa innings T20 will have a lot more extraaa this year with the grandest set ever in the history of LIVE cricket television across the world, which resembles a majestic coliseum reflecting the grandeur of DLF IPL. The colossal set will come to life with a live band, accompanied by the professional 'Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders' from the National Football League, USA.
