BCCL makes top-level changes; elevates Arunabh Das Sharma as President

Rahul Kansal, Mohit Jain, Sanjeev Vohra, Sivakumar S elevated as Executive Presidents of key verticals

As part of its overall objective to strengthen its footprint to non-metros with a wider portfolio, gaining circulation, building clients, doing innovative Brand Capital deals, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd (BCCL) has announcement key elevations in its top management team.

Arunabh Das Sharma has been made President, while Rahul Kansal, Mohit Jain, Sanjeev Vohra and Sivakumar S have been made Executive Presidents.

As President, Das Sharma will continue to lead the Response function fully. He has also been inducted into the Board of BCCL.

Rahul Kansal, as Executive President for the Brands function, will continue to nurture and grow The Times of India brand. He will also directly look after BCCL's expansion strategy into non-metros, and manage the language portfolio as well.

Sanjeev Vohra, Executive President - Audiences, would enable audience aggregation while continuing to drive growth of The Times of India and The Economic Times and relevant language brands into non-metros. He would also seek newer revenue streams from reader engagement such as sampling, activation, etc.

Mohit Jain would manage the complete supply chain network across projects and production as Executive President - Supply Chain. He would drive projects and other strategic initiatives at the cost level that would enable BCCL for the next phase of growth.

Sivakumar Sundaram as Executive President - Brand Capital, would further the strategic advertising partnership initiative which was earlier called New Private Treaties.

The appointments come in force with immediate effect.
