11 Indian entries make it to Clio Awards shortlists

Leo Burnett leads the tally with 3 nominations followed by McCann and Nomad Films with 2 shortlists each.

Clio Awards 2012 has announced shortlists in all categories. Indian agencies have secured 11 nominations. Leo Burnett Mumbai leads the tally with three nominations followed by McCann Worldgroup Mumbai and Nomad Films Mumbai with two shortlists each. BBH Mumbai, Contract Advertising, Cheil Worldwide and TBWA\India have secured one nomination each.

This year, over 80 entries were sent from India, with 24 entries being in the Radio category alone. Sixteen entries in the Radio category were from Leo Burnett Mumbai while McCann Worldgroup Mumbai had six entries followed by one each from Ogilvy Mumbai and Innocean Worldwide Delhi.

The Print category attracted 13 entries from India followed by Design - 9, Innovative Media - 7, Outdoor - 7, Integrated - 6, Interactive - 4, Direct Mail - 3, PR - 3, Content & Contact - 1, and Film - 3.

The winners will be announced at the 53rd Annual Clio Awards Gala to be held on May 15, 2012, in New York.
