CNBC-TV18 and Moneycontrol.com, in their continuing efforts to pioneer editorial and marketing initiatives that move beyond traditional media have partnered with the Google owned online video sharing site YouTube for the second time to broadcast budget 2012 related programming on the site, owing to the success of the partnership last year for Budget 2011.

In an arrangement with YouTube, CNBC-TV18 will stream the budget day feed live on its YouTube channel – http://www.youtube.com/cnbctv18

In addition, the special budget related programming on the TV channel, all through the month of March, will be made available as the same day of airing on its YouTube channel.

Commenting on this initiative, Anil Uniyal, CEO of CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz, said “The Union Budget Day this year is going to be much awaited by all, in the light of the recent developments in our country. As our campaign also suggests, the Union Budget is going to be an opportunity for bounceback or breakdown.  We are happy that through this initiative we will be able to make our channel available additionally to the vast YouTube audience as well.”

Speaking about the association, Gautam Anand, Director Content Partnership Google APAC said, “CNBC TV 18 coverage for the Union Budget 2011 was very well received by our users on YouTube. And we’re delighted to extend our association again this year to bring live coverage feed of Union Budget 2012 to our users.  This is inline with our objective to offer our users the content they value and want. The CNBC TV 18 team will present key analysis of the budget and break it down to highlight the impact on the common man with special shows right through the month on their YouTube channel.”
