Times Now, India's No.1 English news channel, in association with Mahindra Rise, honours the indomitable spirit of India through the Amazing Indians Awards. The awards to be held on 10th February, 2012, New Delhi, have been judged by an eminent panel of jury comprising of Sharmila Tagore, Dr. Devi Shetty, Sunita Narain, Air Chief Marshall (Retd.) Fali .H. Major and Soli Sorabjee.

Through an 18-part series - Amazing Indians – India on the Rise encapsulated the struggle and perseverance of ordinary Indians working towards a better India.  Over the last few months, the Amazing Indians has been viewed by 5.8 million viewers on the channel. Via a rigorous screening process, the prestigious jury chose the winners from the nominations in the respective categories - 'Eco Saviours', 'Educators of India', 'Global Indians',' Grass Root Soldiers', 'Incredible Innovators' 'Ordinary Indians Extraordinary Stories', 'Spark the Rise”, 'Stree Shakti', 'Unstoppable Indians', 'Urban Crusaders' and 'Young Indians Big Achievements'.

Culminating into a grand awards ceremony wherein the winners across each award category will be felicitated for their remarkable endeavour, TIMES NOW salutes the accomplishments of countless unknown Indians.
