Rana Barua calls it a day at Red FM

Barua joined the FM station as Business Head and rose to become  COO level; his next destination is not known

Rana Barua, Chief Operating Officer of Red FM, has put in his papers, according to informed industry sources. He is currently serving his notice period. His next destination could not be ascertained at the time of filing of this report.

Barua had joined Red FM in October 2010 as Business Head. He was elevated to COO in June 2011.

Prior to joining Red FM, Barua was EVP – Programming and Marketing, at Radio City, where he spent more than three and a half years. Radio City was his first assignment in the radio industry after a 12-year-long career in advertising. He has worked for top agencies like Bates, Rediffusion Y&R, McCann, Ogilvy & Mather and JWT.
