MediaCom wins KDD India mandate

The Kuwait based KDD is one of the largest dairy brands in the Arabian Gulf market

MediaCom has bagged the KDD (India) media business following a multi-agency pitch.The business will be managed out of MediaCom’s Bangalore office.

Anita Devraj Mookerjee, General Manager, MediaCom Bangalore, who led the pitch, is excited by the opportunity to partner one of the largest dairy brands in the Middle East. She said, “It was a very competitive playing field and our innovative and differentiated thinking set us apart. We believe our product offering will add value to KDD (India)’ business and our knowledge in the category will be further enriched by working with KDD India.”

KDD (India) is part of KDD Kuwait, which is a leading manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products in the Arabian Gulf markets. KDD is celebrating 50 years of its existence, and is the oldest and most diversified dairy in the region. It has about 160 unique products falling into the dairy, juice, ice cream, and culinary categories.

MediaCom India is the fastest growing media agency in the country (RECMA Sep 2011). It won the Grand Emvies in 2011 for the world’s first “Talking Newspaper”, an innovation done for Volkswagen. The agency manages other blue chip businesses like Procter & Gamble, Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, Dell, Shell, Wrigley, Revlonand MakeMyTrip.com, to name a few.
