BIG MAGIC introduces Bhojpuri Music Band

Starting January 16, the half an hour show takes 9 am slot on every day

The Hindi variety entertainment channel for UP, MP, Bihar & Jharkhand, BIG MAGIC, has now added a new show to its content line up. Starting January 16, 9:00am to 9:30 am on every day, BIG MAGIC brings to its viewers a Bhojpuri Music band, Hamaar Des Hamaar Sangeet that will add to the variety programming mix on the channel.

BIG MAGIC with its programming strategy based on local insights and local preferences has added yet another regional show to its existing line with, Hamaar Des Hamaar Sangeet. The new Bhojpuri music band, will cater to the vast base of audiences, spread across the Hindi Heartland who enjoy Bhojpuri Music.

This Music band will feature songs from the latest and most popular Bhojpuri films. With Bhojpuri films gaining popularity and famous Bollywood stars making their appearances in Bhojpuri films, Bhojpuri music too has been fast emerging in the region. Stars like Nirahu, Ravi Kissen, Manoj Tiwari etc are hugely popular in the region and the music from their movies has an ever growing fan following.

Apart from popular Bhojpuri Music, the show will be interspersed with Bhojpuri gags to increase the entertainment quotient for the viewers. The gags, performed by well known Bhojpuri comedians, will showcase typical and interesting characters from the region like a doodhwala bhaiya, policeman, politician etc performing gags on truly local insights. The band will keep introducing more interesting local characters over a period of time.
