Vh1 organizes Anoushka Shankar live in concert

'Vh1 Handpicked presents Anoushka Shankar Traveller' to be held in Mumbai and Delhi in January 2012

Come 2012 & Vh1 India presents the sensational sitar player and composer Anoushka Shankar LIVE in concert through 'Vh1 Handpicked presents Anoushka Shankar Traveller'. Keeping up to the promise of providing the best in English entertainment, Vh1 is organizing the Anoushka Shankar tour in India. The ravishing artist will be in the country to promote the release of her latest album, 'Traveller'.

Traveller, released in 2010, is an exploration of the commonalities and differences between classical Indian music and Spanish flamenco and also features the talents of Shubha Mudgal, Tanmoy Bose, Pepe Habichuela, Sandra Carrasco and Duquende among others.
