Ozone Media appoints Balasubramanian V to lead technology initiatives

He joins one of the leading ad networks in India from AOL

Balasubramanian V has joined Ozone Media as Vice President – Engineering in Bangalore to spearhead technology and engineering efforts. He moves from AOL.

Balasubramanian has expertise in building products and platforms across several businesses and industry domains and would take on the mandate of enriching the engineering ecosystem at Ozone Media.

On his appointment, Kiran Gopinath, Founder and CEO, Ozone Media said, “Balasubramanian brings to board an in-depth understanding of technology to build scalable platforms. Ozone Media is growing exponentially and he will play a pivotal role in expanding the length and breadth of our presence across verticals and geographies.”

Prior to joining Ozone Media, Balasubramanian has worked with AOL, GE and Sun Microsystems. In his recent assignment with AOL as a Senior Technical Director, he led 70-member strong engineering teams for two critical revenue business units - Advertising and Search.

Talking about his new responsibilities, Balasubramanian says, “Looking forward to create innovative solutions that not only address customer needs, but creates value for all stakeholders involved. I will be working on strategic technology initiatives that will increase Ozone Media's offerings in the market and take advantage of the increased opportunities across digital media platforms.

Balasubramanian holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University. With more than 18 years of experience and possesses in-depth understanding of emerging technologies and their applications in various domains and business environments.
