W&K Delhi wins creative duties of Oberoi Hotels

The win comes close on the heels of bagging creative mandates of Invista Lycra, Xylys watch brand and Heineken

The Delhi office of Wieden+Kennedy has won the creative duties of Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Mohit Jayal, Managing Director, W+K, confirmed the news, saying the account was won recently. He declined to divulge the account size.

The Oberoi Group, founded in 1934, operates 28 hotels and three cruisers in five countries under the luxury ‘Oberoi’ and five-star ‘Trident’ brands. The group is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants, travel and tour services, car rentals, project management and corporate air charters.

The win comes close on the heels of the agency’s wins over the past three months of the creative accounts of Invista Lycra, Xylys watch brand and Heineken. Jayal said the accounts were “substantial” is size but did not divulge further details. Heineken beer has been launched in India by United Breweries. The media agency is Mindshare, Bangalore, and 22 Feet handles the digital duties for the brand.

Jayal said, “We will be creating strategic and tactical communication for these brands across all internal and external touch points.”
