Mitrajit Bhattacharya of Chitralekha Group is Vice-president and R Rajmohan of Open magazine is the new General Secretary

At the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Indian Magazines (AIM) held in Delhi on Tuesday evening on the sidelines of the ongoing World Magazine Congress, Tarun Rai, CEO, Worldwide Media (WWM), has been elected President for a two-year term. He was Vice-president prior to this, and takes over from Pradeep Gupta, Chairman of Cyber Media Group.
Mitrajit Bhattacharya, Publisher & President, Chitralekha Group, who has completed a two-year term as General Secretary of AIM, has been elected Vice-president for a two-year term.
Taking over from Bhattacharya as General Secretary will be R Rajmohan, Publisher, ‘Open’ magazine. Paresh Nath of Delhi Press was elected Treasurer of AIM.
Maheshwer Peri of ‘Outlook’, Paresh Nath of Delhi Press and Ashish Bagga of India Today Group have been presidents of the body in the past. AIM is a fairly new body set up in 2003 to represent the interests of the magazine publishers in the country.
