An award ceremony that recognizes the contributions and services of Indian PSUs in the most comprehensive manner, promises to be grand gala event. Featuring the who's who of the Indian PSU sector in attendance, this year's award ceremony attempts to herald into a new dimension by adding two new categories in its portfolio. This year Dainik Bhaskar Group has invited nominations in two new categories namely 'Social Change Agent' and Impact Creator-Civil Servant'.

By increasing the scope of these awards, the group remains committed towards ensuring that the individuals who have made significant contributions for the overall development of the society should be duly acknowledged and honoured. The response for all the categories be it the PSUs and 'Social Change Agent' and Impact Creator-Civil Servant', has been overwhelming and signifies that there is an utter need today for recognizing the efforts of organization/individuals working towards improving the economy and the social upliftment of the society.

Now running successfully in its 3rd year, India Pride Awards 2011 will feature Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Govt. of India as the Chief Guest along with Jairam Ramesh, Union Minister of Rural Development, Govt. of India as the Guest of Honour and V. Narayanasamy MOS, Parliamentary Affairs and Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions & PMO, Govt. of India as Special Guest.
