NBA re-elects all office-bearers for 2011-12

No representation from TV Today, which was instrumental in formation of NBA, post G. Krishnan's resignation from the company

News Broadcasters Association (NBA) re-elected all its office bearers for 2011-12 at its Annual General Meeting held yesterday in New Delhi.

K.V.L. Narayan Rao, Executive Vice-Chairperson, NDTV Group, will continue as President of NBA in 2011-12 while Barun Das, CEO, Zee News Ltd., has been re-elected Vice-President. Ashok Venkatramani will continue as Honorary Treasurer of the association for one more year.

NBA has not added any new member on the board in place of G. Krishnan who left TV Today recently, thus leaving the group unrepresented in the association. The other members on the NBA Board are Rajat Sharma, Chairman, Independent News Services Pvt Ltd; Sunil Lulla, MD & CEO, Times Global Broadcasting Company Ltd.;  Saikumar Balasubramanian, COO, IBN 18 Broadcast Ltd.
