BIG Bangla Rising Star Awards given away

Autograph bags maximum awards; Anupam Roy is the BIG Rising Star Role Model of the Year

This was a night for the Stars of tomorrow. The BIG Rising Star Awards, an Intellectual Property (IP) conceptualized and executed by BIG Live, India's largest intellectual property creator, ended on a high note this evening. The show encompassed every genre of popular entertainment from theatre, television, sports and cinema. The awards ceremony was held at the magnificent Science City Main Auditorium. Prominent stars from the Bengali industry in attendance were Prosenjit Chatterjee and Anupam Roy.

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation was the presentingsponsor of the event.

The hosts for the evening were the very vibrant RJs of 92.7 BIG FM- RJ Koushik and RJ Sushmita and giving them company was the Bengali Actress RII who charmed her way into the audience's heart. The stage was set ablaze with scintillating performances from lyricist, composer and singer Anupam Roy, Vikram & Mumtaz (youngest daughter of PC Sorcar junior), June Banerjee of the Ooh LaLaLa fame, Nusrat and the  leading rock band of the region Fossils. All the performances had a mesmerizing effect on the audiences who were swinging to the various tunes played and were seen having a fantastic time.
