McCann Erickson wins Gold at The APPIES 2011

Awarded for the Saffolalife-Young at Heart Campaign at the APPIES 2011 held in Singapore.

The Saffolalife– Young at Heart campaign by McCann Erickson has clinched the ‘Marketing Campaign Gold Medal’ at the APPIES 2011- the Asia Pacific Marketing Congress held in Singapore.

The Saffolalife Young at Heart Campaign emerged as one of the 10 chosen campaigns to be awarded The Appies ‘Gold’ for its excellence in Marketing and Communications in Asia Pacific. The final competition was fierce with more than 100 marketing campaigns from 16 regional countries. The campaigns represented 6 broad categories- Food & Beverage, Non-Food FMCG, Consumer Durables, Consumer Services, Business Services and Pro-Bono/Government/Cultural. The campaigns were showcased to a panel of 30 senior marketers and were judged for their excellence in planning, implementation, effectiveness and results.

Commenting on the win, Sameer Satpathy, EVP & Head, Marketing, Marico Ltd. said, “We are happy that the Saffolalife Young at Heart campaign has won the Gold at The Appies. This campaign was an ideal extension of the brand philosophy to keep India’s heart healthy by increasing consumer awareness through the new concept of heart’s age”.
