Jagran Cityplus launches seventh edition of Pune

The Wakad and Pimple Saudagar of Pune edition is the 32nd edition of the tabloid size weekly across the country.

Jagran Prakashan has launched the 32nd Edition of its weekly English tabloid Dainik Jagran Cityplus in Wakad/Pimple Saudagar of Pune on 30th July 2011. This is the seventh edition of Cityplus of Pune. Cityplus has its presence in five prime cities like Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad.

This Edition with a circulation of 35000 copies will be circulated every Saturday/Sunday and will cover residential and commercial establishments across Wakad and Pimple Saudagar. The tabloid will be targeted at the localized local and relevant community news and will have specified sections and columns for community news, events and happenings, fashion, food, and lifestyle, among others.

Wakad/Pimple Saudagar is one of the upcoming areas in Pune. The population consist mix of Old/Young, Marwadi/Gujarati, Higher Middle class people belonging to salaried/self employed segment.  The area is highly potential for community news paper with series of eating joints/Hotels/retail outlets/Spa/Gym etc. for coverage. The area has lots of commercial establishment/Offices and is one of fast developing area of Pune. It is highly influenced by the nearby IT Hub – Hinjewadi.
