VivaKi awarded in Best Strategy in line with Business category; Mudra wins in two categories.

publive-imageVivaKi India and Mudra Group have won Asia's Best Employer Brand Award 2011 at a glittering event in Singapore held recently. VivaKi India has been awarded in the category 'Best Talent Strategy in line with Business while Mudra's Leadership Learning and Change (LLC) team won the top  award in the 'Innovation in Career Development' category and Ajit Menon, Executive Director, Organisation Development, Mudra Group  won the 'Exemplary Leader' award..

This is the second time that the LLC team has been awarded at an Asia Pacific level and  the fifth time it is  winning awards from the World HRD Congress.

The 2nd Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards 2011 held in Singapore witnessed the best brains in HR, who converged to discuss the future of human resources development and the competencies HR professionals must cultivate to thrive in an ever-changing global business environment. The Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards in its second year is researched by Employer Branding Institute and Stars of the Industry Group. These awards are presented to individuals and organisations that have surpassed several levels of excellence and set an example of being a role model. The aim of the awards is to recognise the best of the best. The objective at the core is to benchmark talent and HR practices.

On the award, Srikant Sastri, Country Chair, VivaKi India said, “This is a great achievement for us at VivaKi and a testimony to the fact that the four agencies within VivaKi are harnessing an excellent set of people to be the first, best and only. Kudos to the Talent and Transformation team led by Rashmi Deshpande which in a short period has made a difference to the practice of managing talent across locations and companies”.

The network will ramp up the team further to offer clients the best media planning and buying, marketing services & digital marketing services in the country including a shared back-end for common implementation support.

Commenting on this win, Ajit Menon, Executive Director, Organisation Development, Mudra Group, said, ““Five years ago, I left a senior management job in Bangalore to take up the challenge of introducing professional HR practices into an industry which woefully lagged in this area even though its chief asset was its  people. This year the awards drew entries from various corporate houses such as Coca-Cola, P&G , Oracle, Microsoft, Hindustan lever, HSBC, Omnicom Media Group, Hindustan Unilever, LG Electronics, Walmart, Turner Broadcasting, Thai Airways, GE, Pfizer and Atos Origin.
