PVR Cinemas to host Harry Potter Film Festival

PVR Cinemas and Warner Bros. Pictures in an exclusive tie up for the film festival.

PVR Cinemas, the leading multiplex chain in India today announced an exclusive partnership with Warner Bros Pictures for a Harry Potter Film Festival in India. Scheduled from July 7^th to 13^th July, 2011, the seven day long festival is all set to bring back the nostalgia of all the Harry Potter movies across three cities in - PVR Ambience Mall in Gurgaon, PVR Phoenix Mill in Mumbai and PVR Forum Mall in Bangalore. Patrons can purchase tickets for the festival from these PVR Cinemas. The tickets will be priced at the lowest band in the respective cinemas. Festival Passes for the entire 7 movies will also be available for all Harry Potter fans.

The festival will culminate with the Premiere of the latest release of the series - Harry Potter 7 Part II on Wednesday, July 13^th, 2011 at PVR Priya, New Delhi & PVR Cinemas in Bangalore and Chennai. For the first time in India, Harry Potter fans will get an opportunity to watch all the seven movies in the series on consecutive days during the festival.

During the Harry Potter Film Festival screenings, PVR Cinemas will also provide an experience of Harry Potter's fantasy land to its movie lovers.  For instance PVR staff will wear specially designed Harry Potter tees, there will be innovative onscreen and web promotions by Warner Bros for the festival, specially designed Harry Potter corners at selected PVR Cinemas will be set up – this will comprise of  gaming consoles, movie merchandise corner, drawing competition, Harry Potter lookalike contest and many more fun activities during the festival.
