Last year in October, when the beverages and food major PepsiCo India picked Taproot India to conceptualize its ICC World Cup 2011 campaign for Pepsi, who had expected such tremendous success and impact of the campaign titled Change the Game? Then a little over one year old agency did not only prove its mettle by bringing fresh and path breaking ideas but it changed the game by impressing the Cola major. Since then, there were talks within PepsiCo India to get the agency on board as its regular specialist creative agency for the brands Pepsi.
Finally, PepsiCo India confirmed signing Taproot India as specialist creative agency today. Now, Pepsi has 2 agencies - Taproot and JWT on board. Until recently, JWT was the only agency working on the brand Pepsi.
