AdAsia2011 confirms six new international speakers
Coca-Cola's Global CMO Joseph Tripodi is one of the six speakers at AdAsia 2011 scheduled from Oct 31 to Nov 3 this year.

AdAsia2011 has confirmed six new international speakers including Coca-Cola's Global CMO Joseph V Tripodi. Joseph V Tripodi leads the Global Marketing, Consumer Management and Commercial Leadership efforts of Coca-Cola Company to develop as well as to leverage its capabilities, brands and properties in line with the needs of consumers worldwide and drive profitable growth. Among his achievements, Tripodi led Allstate's “Your Choice Auto and Home,” the industry's first product innovations in decades. Tripodi is currently a member of the Board of the Ad Council and was also Chairman of the Association of National Advertisers.
The other international speakers confirmed by AdAsia2011 include Akira Kagami - Executive Advisor & Global Executive Creative Advisor at Dentsu Inc. Thirasak Tanapatanakul - Worldwide Chairman at Creative Juice, Duncan Goose - Founder and Managing Director of London-based Global Ethics Limited, Kitty Lun - Chairman and CEO of LOWE China and Koichi Yamamato - General Manager at Global Solutions Center, Dentsu Inc. AdAsia2011 is scheduled from October 31 - November 03 2011 in New Delhi. The speakers mentioned above will share their perspective on the evolving dynamics in business, marketing and advertising.
Akira Kagami has helped build brands for clients across the globe ranging in variety and size of the industries. Currently, he focuses on Asia, one of the hottest markets, to strengthen Dentsu's creative network and its client work. Akira has won various awards & accolades including ACCs, a Grand Prix, Clio, IBA Sweepstakes, ADC, Cannes Lions, Asia Pacific, One Show, and D&AD. He chaired AdFest in 2002, was the first foreign judge in the China Advertising Great Wall Awards in 2007 and was the Jury President for Outdoor Lions Grand Prix at Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in 2009.
Thirasak Tanapatanakul has been awarded for local and international shows including multiple Gold Lions, Gold Clios, Yellow Pencil D&AD, Pencils The One Show, Andy Awards of Excellence and Grand Prix in Asia Pacific Adfest. Besides his professional experience in advertising, Thirasak has also extended his effort to build a creative and inspiration place called 'The Village of Joy' to build under green-beauty and sustainable living concept. It aims to inspire people to reconsider their lifestyle and live sufficiently.
Duncan Goose is also the founder and the owner of the “One” bottled water company, based in the U.K. that has helped install 899 roundabout pumps in South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zambia — enough to supply 1.2 million people with clean drinking water from a sustainable source. In July 2005 One water became the official water for Live8 and Make Poverty History and since then the 'One' brand has already extended into different product categories. For his entrepreneurship, Duncan has received various awards including Greatest Britons 2007, Beacon Fellowship Award, Co-Operative Retail Group Business Awards, Paul Harris Fellowship Award and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
AdAsia2011 will also see Kitty Lun, one of the most awarded and respected advertising professional in Greater China. She has chaired and judged award shows in Greater China, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, New York, Russia and Canada. In 2003 Kitty published her book “Advertising With No Lipstick” where she provided an in-depth insight on her unique philosophy on advertising and on life. In 2005, Kitty was one amongst the top 10 Creative Directors of the Year and top 10 Distinguished Advertising Women of the Year. In 2008, she was honoured with the Distinguished Alumni Communicators Award by the Hong Kong Baptist University. And in 2009, she was honoured with the New York Festivals Creative Achievement Award.
Koichi Yamamoto has experience in a wide range of services like communications strategy planning, new brands and product planning, marketing solutions across varied industries. He has been the Director at Communication Lab, Dentsu Communication Institute Inc where his main focus was on research and development of new knowledge and systems for marketing communication along with consultation on new product development, communication and brand management strategies for numerous clients. Koichi has been a speaker at many global conferences including, Advertising Research Foundation annual Conference, Asian Racing Conference 2008 & 10, Forum for the Future 2006, IAA World Congress 2004.
