Havells Fans are known for their premium quality and low consumption of electricity. The proposition was established with the memorable 'bijli ko bachao' commercial and was carried forward with the other set of communication around energy efficiency. The objective is to communicate the growing stature and wide range of Havells fans that include ceiling, wall, pedestal, table, personal, ventilation and industrial fans.
The current communication developed by Lowe Lintas is a set of 4 ad commercials. Based on a universal insight that we are all habituated to fan ourselves with anything handy like a newspaper, a book, piece of cloth etc. whenever we feel discomforted due to heat. In doing so, we tend to disrespect the efforts of people who are responsible for creating the object, that we turn into a fan, without a thought. The commercials humorously illustrate this point and state that whenever we need a breeze, Havells fans are there to provide it, hence we can let other objects be what they originally meant to be and not make 'fans' out of them.
