Tata Motors organised an event to celebrate the Delhi Daredevil spirit on Tuesday, 17th May, 2011. The event also provided an opportunity to 50 Delhiites to meet and greet the Delhi Daredevil team.
As part of the Jiyo Dilli Festival, Tata Motors provided all Delhiites with a fun-filled opportunity through its association with the IPL. Being the Official Vehicle Partner of the Delhi Daredevils, the company offered cricket enthusiasts in Delhi a chance to meet the Delhi Daredevils, get match tickets and win exclusive merchandise through the “Test Drive Karo Daredevil Bano Contest”.
As part of this contest, Delhi Daredevil zones were created at the Tata Motors showrooms and malls in the city. Every individual who took a test drive of the Tata Vista or Tata Manza won Delhi Daredevil merchandises and also entered the contest. The contest received an overwhelming response of over 1900 entries, of which, lucky 50 winners today were given a chance to meet the Delhi Daredevils team.
Tata Motors also launched a Signature campaign on the 9th of April wherein a Tata Vista 90 travelled around the city, visiting landmarks, corporate business parks, markets, taking signatures of Delhiites to wish the Delhi Daredevils. This activity saw participation of around 2500 individuals, from over 20 locations in the city.
Tata Motors also launched the Jiyo Dilli anthem in association with the very famous rock band, the Euphoria. Written and composed by Dr. Palash Sen from Euphoria, the song echoed the pulse of the city and the Tata Motors Jiyo Dilli Festival. The anthem was also played in the stadium to cheer the team.
The Tata Motors Jiyo Dilli Festival promises to present multiple opportunities to the Delhiites to participate in events that will keep the Delhiite’s spirits high.
