Sony brings back Crime Petrol

Starting today, the fourth season of the crime show to telecast every Friday & Saturday.

April 29, 2011:

publive-image'Are you missing any signal of criminal intent?' This is the central idea that Sony's successful show in its fourth season, Crime Patrol 4, puts forward. The unique series on Sony which deals with unsolved crimes is back with a new agenda – every crime has its warning signs & signals that hapless victims should be watchful of.

In its latest avatar Crime Patrol Dastak will attempt to look at the signs and signals which indicate the future possibilities of gruesome crimes and mindless mayhem. Though it is common practice to ignore the small signals or strange feelings we experience everyday in certain circumstances, our instinctual responses are more clued to abnormal behaviour. They always try to tell us that everything is not normal. Fighting couples, snoopy individuals, quirky manners , sudden  behavioral changes which we all come across at some time or other and are believed to be harmless, only comes back to haunt us when an actual crime is committed.

The new season of Crime Patrol will wake the society up to the fact that there are signs which precede the crime. It also educates us about the signs and signals which we should watch out around us and what do they mean in the context of the crimes that happen in our daily life.

Produced by Optimystix and hosted by Anup Soni, the series goes on air on April 29th, every Friday, Saturday 11pm.

Speaking about the fresh season of Crime Patrol, Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Sony Entertainment Television said, “As the proverb goes, Prevention is always better than cure and when it is crime, prevention is what should ideally happen rather than going after the criminals once the crime is committed. While planning for the fourth season, we thought that focusing on the injustice and unsolved cases is not enough; the need of the day is a way to check these crimes before it happens and to do that effectively you must understand the tell tale signs, which precedes every major crime.”
