Rajiv Rao, National Creative Director, Ogilvy has been selected as the only Indian creative director to judge the Clio Awards this year. Rao is judging the entries for the Clio Awards in the film category. It's the third time that Ogilvy India's Creative Director has been given this honour.
Besides Rao, Prasoon Pandey, Director, Corcoise Films and E Suresh, Director, Studio EEKSAURUS Productions have been chosen as jury members for Film Technique category while Manohar Nayak, Managing Director, Lingo India will judge the entries in Radio/Radio Technique category.
Sharing his views exclusively with BestMediaInfo.com, Rajiv Rao, National Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather, said, “Clio Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the world and its standards are pretty high. I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to see and judge some great works from across the world. Usually, the juries are not very familiar with most of the creative works at an international platform hence the judging happens to be unbiased and I'm happy to be a part of the coveted jury this time.”
Last year, Santosh Padhi (aka Paddy), Chief Creative Officer and Co-founder, TapRoot India and Ashish Chakravarty, Creative Chief, McCann Erickson Delhi, were the two jury members representing India at the Clio Awards.
The judging is taking place today at Santa Fe, USA while the CLIO Awards and Conference will take place on May 19, 2011 at New York's Essex Hotel and American Museum of Natural History.
