IPL continues to hit Hindi GECs; Colors adds a few GRPs

No respite for Star Plus, Zee TV and Sony in the 17^th week of TAM 2011.

TAM people meters indicate that IPL fever is growing by the time and 17^th week of 2011 has not brought any respite for the Hindi GECs except Colors and SAB who have added a few GRPs.

India's No.1 Hindi GECs Star Plus has garnered 300 GRPs in the week 17 of TAM 2011 (319 GRPs last week). Bringing in the high-end technologies, the channel has recently been launched in Asli HD.

Amidst the IPL fever, Colors has added a few GRPs to take its current week's GRPs to 227 (last week 218). The channel has lost 51 and 31 GRPs in 15^th and 16^th respectively.

Remaining below 200 GRPs in the second consecutive week after the Cricket World Cup, Zee TV has garnered 193 GRPs in week 17 (197 GRPs last week).

Sony Entertainment Television has maintained the status quo this week at 145 GRPs (last week 146).

SAB has seen some gain and recorded 139 GRPs in week 17 (last week 135).

The No.6 player Imagine TV recorded 61 GRPs in 17^th week (last week 68). It has added 10 GRPs in the week 16.

Star One has garnered 36 GRPs (last week 33). Sahara One is at 29 GRPs (last week 30).
