What's brewing in the world of communication?
The latest is that Concept Group has launched “brew”, with an idea to exchange views on the developments, innovations and trends that the media and marketing environment is witnessing and designing.
This periodical, brings to its readers a wide perspective on communication related subjects from the desks of business heads and field experts across the specialised verticals and group companies under the Concept umbrella.
Nirmal Suchanti, Chairman Concept Group, says “brew is a contemporary and ingenious way of maintaining the relationship with the clients and associates at all times. I have built this agency on a strong foundation of relationships and it is a pleasure to see the young team carrying forward the torch.”
A uniquely sized periodical, brew is designed to focus on every communication vertical, individually.
“This thoughtpad”, as Concept Group's Managing Director, Vivek Suchanti likes to call it, “will be a window into the super-specialised arena of advertising and public relations. With the ever evolving communication environment, advertising and public relations in particular are facing newer challenges every day. brew is the channel that Team Concept would like too use to share expert opinions on a bouquet of issues.”
The idea of the periodical itself has been brewing in the head of Concept's Director, Dhaval Desai, since the last quarter. “We have been thought leaders from the very inception of Concept Communication, I wanted our voices to be heard above the din of presentations and portfolios. Our boys and girls are enthusiastic thinkers, giving them this platform will also help us keep them motivated, agile and inspired in every situation.”
Necessarily then, the publication needed to stir clear of news-based articles and develop a blog-sphere in print. “In the PR space we are constantly advising clients to keep the dialogue open with customers and investors … it was time we applied the advice on ourselves,” says Ashish Jalan, Director, Concept PR.
Ashish's enthusiastic team of PR specialists (that include senior journalists like BN Kumar and CP Thomas) has been the back-bone of the editorial team at brew led by Concept's Ex- Creative Director, Sheena Seth.
“Designing and conceptualizing brew, has been an exciting challenge. Developing content for the thoughtpad, with the team is very inspiring. The passion with which they look at their areas of specialization is finally finding a space, that does tend to get lost in the slide presentations they are usually limited to. Since Brew is not just limited to sharing ideas from the Concept teams' desks but presents the views and opinions of our associates across industries and media, readers will get an interesting perspective on varied aspects of communication and public relations,” says Sheena.
