publive-imageSahara Pune Warriors, the latest entrant in the Indian Premier League has awarded its exclusive sponsorship mandate to Percept Sport.

A joint team of Sahara Corporate Communications led by Abhijit Sarkar and Percept Sport would spearhead this initiative of raising sponsorships and managing the sponsor deliverable management for the franchise.

“We have had a long standing relationship with Percept over the years and when this opportunity came up, this was logical. We are very clear that we would love to have sponsors and partners who we would work closely with towards giving them professional delivery of their requirements when they partner us in this exciting journey ahead. With the vision of Shri Subrata Roy Sahara we are confident of adding tremendous value to our partners”, said Abhijit Sarkar, Director- Sahara Adventure Sports Ltd.

Added Devraj Sanyal, CEO Percept Sports and Entertainment, '' With our long history in sports marketing and leadership in the sponsorship marketing space, combined with our relationship with the Sahara India Pariwar, we  are extremely excited at the opportunity and would look at ensuring our partners work with the Sahara Pune Warriors for a long and mutually beneficial association”.

The latest entrant to the IPL, the Sahara Pune Warriors is poised to be one of the more exciting franchises with one of the youngest and most balanced teams post the latest auction that concluded recently.

High value signings such as Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthapa, Ashish Nehra and the strong personality of South African captain Graeme Smith, supported by an able and multi talented cast of Angelo Mathews, Jesse Ryder, potential Australia captain Tim Paine and a host of other exciting international talent, would make this one of the teams to watch out for.

Interestingly, this was the only franchise to launch and truly position itself as the people's franchise with a massive launch held in Pune last year attended by over 40,000 residents of Pune setting the platform for the team to build on the enthusiasm in what is regarded as India's youngest and most vibrant city.

With the strongest supporter of Indian sport and cricket at the helm in the form of the Sahara India Pariwar and a high voltage launch campaign on the anvil, the stage is set for the Sahara Pune Warriors to dazzle the world and make it not only one of the most exciting teams to watch, but also as the most sponsor friendly franchise in IPL.
