20:20 MSL, previously known as 20:20 MEDIA, today unveiled its new brand vision and identity aligned with MSLGROUP, Publicis Groupe’s flagship speciality communications, PR and events global network. 20:20 MSL, which joined MSLGROUP in October 2010, is one of India’s most respected communications agencies and a leader in technology public relations.
The unveiling of the new brand identity and vision, and evolved agency name to 20:20 MSL, is part of a strategic plan to maximize the benefits of the MSLGROUP global network to the clients, staff and services of 20:20 MSL, as well as better integrate the global organization. The expansion of key specialized communications services and strategic consultancy areas important to clients in India, including digital and social media, crisis and issues management, corporate responsibility and employee communications, will be core focus points.
The MSLGROUP global brand represents a new breed of strategic communications agency focused on engagement unbound by traditional channels, tactics or disciplines. The impact of social media and the fast-changing PR landscape in India make creative story-telling with the ability to influence key audiences more important than ever before. In today’s conversation economy, being the client’s most trusted advisor is the fundamental essence of the MSLGROUP vision.
The announcement also strengthens the marketplace position of the overall MSLGROUP India brand, which features three firms: 20:20 MSL, Hanmer MSL and 2020Social. Combined, MSLGROUP India is the nation’s largest and most-awarded network, including more than 550 communications consultants, 16 offices and an activation network reaching 125 additional cities across India. Both 20:20 MSL and Hanmer MSL were awarded India Agency of the Year in 2009, by the Indy’s and Holmes Report respectively, in addition to receiving countless additional awards from Indian industry groups and international associations. While each agency maintains separate operations, they are guided by a common MSLGROUP India brand and business strategy, which is managed by the MSLGROUP India Management Board comprised of representatives from each agency.
Commenting on the announcement, Glenn Osaki, President, MSLGROUP Asia and Chair of MSLGROUP India Management Board, said, “The seamless integration of 20:20 Media joining us last year, the creation of MSLGROUP India which followed, and now 20:20 MSL adopting MSLGROUP’S vision and identity, underscores our aggressive approach to serving the needs of our clients and staff in the India marketplace. Today’s move is the latest step in MSLGROUP India’s commitment to providing MNCs doing business in India and local brands looking to expand abroad with greater depth of creativity, engagement and value through specialized communications services and strategic consulting.”
Sunil Agarwal, Managing Director of 20:20 MSL and member of MSLGROUP India Management Board added, “By joining MSLGROUP and Publicis Groupe we benefitted from access to insights, expert training and strategic communications tools. Now that we have aligned ourselves with MSLGROUP’s vision and identity, we can continue to leverage the network’s deep experience and vast reach to bring even greater value to our clients, staff and business operations in India.”
