Zee Cine Awards 2011 Given Away

Shah Rukh Khan and Vidya Balan awarded best actor and best actress; Dabaang clinched best film award.

In a star studded evening at Singapore's grandest hotel property, Marina Bay Sands, Zee Cine Awards 2011 recognized the best of Bollywood on January 14, 2011.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan won the best actor award for his role in 'My Name is Khan'. Actress Vidya Balan bagged the best actress award for her role of a scheming seductress in the film 'Ishqiya'. Salman Khan starrer 'Dabaang' clinched the best film award.

The awards ceremony saw the presence of biggest names in Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal among many others. Some 8,000 fans attended the five hour gala event, with 5,000 being packed in the main ballroom for the live show and nearly 3,000 took seats in another hall where the show was 'simulcast'.

Zee TV will telecast the ceremony within two weeks.
