Nicktoon Dora the Explorer supports Childline in the Dream Run at The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2011.

On your mark, get set go! For the city of Mumbai, the New Year brings with it a new hope for people to come together, a new day for the spirit of Mumbai to come alive. Nickelodeon begins the year helping the community by participating in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2011.
Gearing up this year, is adorable Nicktoon ‘Dora the Explorer’ along with the Nickelodeon team for a Dream Run of 6km. Nickelodeon will participate in the Mumbai Marathon and this year will lend its support to Childline, a 24-hour, free, emergency phone service for street children who are in need of aid and assistance.
‘The Big Help’ is an ongoing grassroots campaign created by Nickelodeon to give back in many ways to communities. Nickelodeon’s The Big Help takes on a variety of subjects and undertakes pro-socio initiatives like ‘Let’s Just Play’ which encourages kids to imbibe a healthy lifestyle and ‘Big Green Help’ that inculcates habits in kids to save planet Earth. Going by the same tradition and values, Nickelodeon will continue to keep ‘kids’ in the centre of everything it does and be a responsible broadcaster with many such initiatives all through the year.
